Holden Sales Achievers Awards

Schofields Holden salespeople stood out in 2009’s Sales Achievers Awards, coming in 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th place nationwide; an outstanding result in the Group One category. Holden NZ runs this year-long sales competition, with over one hundred Holden salespeople throughout NZ competing to be recognized for sales and service excellence.

Congratulations to Peter Loft, Alan Wilson, Mark Macdonald, Gordon Sale and Brian Chase for a fantastic year-long effort. 2009 was a tough year for every dealership, and to have FIVE of our sales team in the Holden Top Ten is a great achievement, let alone FIVE in the Top SIX!

2009 Holden Grand Masters Award

On Friday February 5th we learned that Schofields won the 2009 Grand Masters and Chairman’s Award – an award given by Holden New Zealand to a dealer in recognition of overall business excellence and outstanding performance in sales, after-sales, staff development and customer care.

The Holden Grand Masters program is considered the most prestigious recognition program for Holden Dealerships, and whilst vehicle sales results are important, it is in the customer care area that Holden demands excellence of performance from its Dealers, including superior results in the purchase and delivery experience and after-sales service.

Schofields has won this award in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 and now 2009. We want to thank and recognize not only our hard-working staff, but also our loyal customers and supporters. It’s a pleasure doing business with you. Long may it continue !

SS V-Series Special Edition

From late February a SS V-Series Special Edition Sedan, Sportwagon and Ute will hit New Zealand streets. The special editions will achieve immediate attention with styling treatments even more aggressive than Holden’s established performance hero models.

The SS V-Series Special Edition will boast a new twin nostril front fascia with unique lower splitter and twin letter-box hood scoops. The sedan variant will feature a deck-lid spoiler and chrome highlights.

Simon Carr, Holden New Zealand’s Managing Director says that high performance sports cars with unique specifications have always been popular with New Zealand motorists.

Early Direct Marketing

Certainly marketing styles have changed (not to mention the prices!), but even back in 1928 car-owners were getting service reminders in the mail. This was apparently sent to a customer in North Dakota, USA.
